After two rounds of interviews, I joined in the the Rights and Interests Department of the university Student Union successfully. I think that the Rights and Interests Department is the main work of the functional department, aiming at timely investigation and students’ problems reported to the relevant departments and leaders, and strive to properly solve. I hope that I can help more college students to maintain their rights.
In the first half of freshman year, I participated in the three items. The first items was to make interview questions about the career planning. I act as a group leaders. As a group leader, I asked everyone to write several interview questions, and then made a ppt to summarize the content of relevant interview questions. Finally, I organized team members to hold two group meetings and confirmed the final interview draft. After the first items, I learned how to coordinate the relationship between team members. Two weeks later, I joined the interview as a reporter， which made me so satisfied.
The second item was to do a copy planning about the nucleic acid test sites in our schools. The epidemic outbroke in Shanghai in later 2022, all parts of Shanghai set the nucleic acid test sites, almost everyone should do nucleic acid sampling on time. Since the the nucleic acid test sites was newly built in our university and most students didn’t know the opening time and locations, our team should do a copy planning to show everything about these sites. This time I still acted as a group leader. I arranged four team members to have a field trip to the nucleic acid test sites, One student drew a map and the another was responsible for making a mind map. I was responsible for the copywriting.After I organized all the things in a word.,our team members to hold two group meetings and confirmed the final work. I think my Co-ordination capacity has improved.
The last item was to choose and rewrite proposals.At the end of the school congress, proposals for each major were presented to the Student Council.And our department was responsible for putting together the proposal and choosing to rewrite the proposals which are likely to be completed. Actually the proposal we have written is for the school authorities to read, so we should pay attention to the feasibility . Our group leader let us work in pairs to rewrite the proposal and we should rewrite two proposals. I wrote the feasibility analysis for the two proposals. It was really a complicated thing thus we should take everything into account. Through this task, I also learned how to look at the feasibility of things in a more comprehensive way.
